To approve your event please send a short written request and a copy of your show bill to Grassland Ranch.
Points are updated each Wednesday. Events are required to submit results within 7 days following their event.

2/18/17- NBHA AL 01 AMERICAN CHALLENGE TURNED OUT A HUGE CROWD
NBHA AL 01 decided to make their event February 18, 2017 an American size pattern to create a competitive atmosphere that gave folks a chance to see how they could stack up to the American Rodeo finalists. The show turned out an amazing crowd with a whopping 225 entries in the open class and 70 entries in the youth. The event paid out over $10,000 in prize money. This event was WBRL, BBR, and YBRI approved and NBHA sanctioned.

2/26/17- 2-S Arena Hosts a great start to their Spring Buckle Series in Elkmont, AL
2-S Arena began their buckle series just a few years ago. Since, they have seen their numbers grow as they consistently produce great events that run smoothly and pay well. If you are looking for a great indoor arena to run barrels and poles you must check them out on facebook. Their next event is set for March 5, 2017. This event will also be YBRI approved.
We would like to thank Mindy and Will Sanders for their generous donation of all proceeds from the February 26 YBRI side pot to YBRI.They wanted to do this for the kids, because all proceeds from YBRI will be put towards great awards and prizes.
3/5/17- Madde Shelton takes 1st and 2nd aboard two great mounts at 2S Arena in Elkmont, AL!!!
2S Arena in Elkmont, AL hosted a wonderful event on Sunday March 5, 2017. The open and youth classes consisted of large entries with some great horses and jockeys. Madde Shelton displayed great sportsmanship and jockey skills aboard two great mounts to win 1st and 2nd in the youth class. YBRI would like to congratulate Madde for her wins and leading the 1D YBRI points at this time. We encourage other youth riders to join YBRI for their chance at extra incentives and awards.
3/25/2017- Gracie White makes her mark on the YBRI picking up the win and 5 points towards the AAY give aways and end of year awards.
NBHA AL 01 Hosted the 4th YBRI Approved event in 2017 on March 25. Congratulations to all of the members who earned a check. The payout is proving that YBRI is a great incentive for our youth barrel racers. Please encourage other youth to sign up and look for approved events. The next Approved event is in Elkmont, AL Sunday April 2, 2017. Congratulations to the YBRI sidepot winner Gracie White on Snappy running an impressive 14.653 for the 1D win.

THANK YOU!!!!!! Thank you to the members and friends of the Youth Barrel Racing Incentive in 2017. We have served our mission to provide youth barrel racers with quality competitions and additional incentives by paying for 4 entries to AAY and giving end of year awards. We will have a YBRI 2017 member only side pot at the Feb. 17 show in Priceville, AL with $500 added money. 2017 awards will be given at that show to the winner of each division for 2017. There will be no awards for the February show. We wish all of our youth the best in 2018. YBRI will conclude its run and will not renew memberships for 2018. Thank you to everyone who supported YBRI and the youth.
